Ocean Containers

Ocean containers are the primary medium for transporting goods and equipment from one country to another.

Also known as ISO or Intermodal containers they are designed for transportation by more than just one mode of transport. Intermodal containers were designed to be easily transported by ocean, road and rail as they conform to the International Organization for Standardisation (ISO) container manufacturing standards.

ISO containers are produced in several standard configurations from the basic dry cube, a totally enclosed box with doors at one end to cylindrical tanks mounted within a rectangular steel framework used to transport liquid or bulk materials.
